Services abroad refuse passports to young people who left before the age of 18: what is the matter

Passport services abroad are massively refusing to issue passports to young Ukrainian citizens aged 18 who are not recorded in the “Oberig” conscript register.

Passport services abroad refuse to accept documents for the issuance or exchange of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a foreign passport to young men aged 18, for whom there is no entry in the “Oberig” register. We are also talking about those who left before 2022, in particular, to study, or after the start of a full-scale war, and accordingly physically did not have time to register with the TCC.
