Former American fighter MMALouis Taylor commented on the information that Shavkat Rakhmonov (19-0) fought with an injury in a fight against Ian Garry (15-1), Sports.kz reports.
“I don’t think this injury played a big role in this fight. I think he just had a bad performance so they [его команда] decided to push this particular narrative. I saw Shavkat a year ago or more – his knees were also wrapped, so this injury is lingering, but it did not prevent him from knocking out his opponents. But you decide for yourself whether to fight with an injury or not. Entering the cage is your decision. You can't blame injury if you win or lose.
