Undefeated Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov (18-0) responded to calls from some fighters who allegedly want to fight him at the tournament UFC 310 in Las Vegas December 7, Sports.kz reports.
“All I hear are empty calls! No real intentions, no actions. Just posturing for the media and fans,” Rakhmonov wrote in X, noting the Nigerian fighter Kamaru Usman (20-4) and American Colby Covington (17-4).
Let us remind you that initially Shavkat Rakhmonov was supposed to fight for the UFC welterweight title with American Belal Muhammad (24-3), but he withdrew due to health problems. Despite this, Shavkat decided to compete in the tournament and remained on the card – now he is waiting for the UFC to approve his opponent.
