Shavkat Rakhmonov spoke about his friendship with Ian Garry – Boxing/MMA

Kazakh fighter UFC Shavkat Rakhmonov (18-0) admitted that he never communicated with Irishman Ian Garry (15-0) outside the gym, Sports.kz reports.

— Did you and Garry communicate somewhere outside the Kill Cliff hall? Or was everything limited to training and sparring?
– No, we haven’t met except during training. We only met him in the gym to practice. I knew that one day he would become the top fighter in the division and I would have to beat him. So I can't say that he is my friend. This is just a sporting interest: to find out which of us is the best fighter.
