Sijarto met with Lavrov and made a statement about peace
The Hungarian minister is convinced that the war in Ukraine has no solution on the battlefield.
The head of the Foreign Ministry of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, visited Moscow on December 2 and stated that the solution to the war in Ukraine should be sought at the negotiating table.
The Hungarian minister wrote about this on his Facebook page.
In Moscow, Szijharto met with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, after which he made a statement about peace.
“Hungary is on the side of peace. Over the last thousand days, it has been conclusively proven that the war in Ukraine has no solution on the battlefield, so a solution must be sought at the negotiating table,” the Hungarian minister said in a statement.
He added that the breakdown of diplomatic relations makes it impossible to “negotiate a solution and, therefore, end the war.”
