SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, and the Shakhtar Football Club have directed UAH 10.6 billion ($300 million) to help the country, the military, and war victims over nearly three years of full-scale invasion.
This is stated in the message of SCM Akhmetov.
The assistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is implemented within the framework of the “Steel Front of Rinat Akhmetov” project. Defense forces receive ammunition, cars, armored personnel carriers, ambulances, thermal imaging cameras, sights, walkie-talkies, personal protective equipment and more.
Akhmetov's “Metinvest” designed and delivered more than 600 steel dugouts for front-line fighters. From its own steel, the company manufactures anti-drone protection for armored vehicles free of charge in order to save the lives of Ukrainian defenders. DTEK constantly provides support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and humanitarian aid.
