Slovakia will reduce aid to Ukrainian refugees to save money — World
The changes will not apply to vulnerable population groups: pensioners, older than 65 years, children under five years old or single guardians of these children.
Starting in 2025, Slovakia will reduce support for Ukrainian refugees. The new rules will limit stays in asylum centers and housing payments to 60 days.

From March 1, 2025, Ukrainian refugees who will receive status after that date will be able to stay in asylum centers for no more than 60 days instead of 120, as it was before.
According to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Slovakia, Peter Krauspe, Ukrainian refugees in most cases find work and housing within two months.
