Snowfall and wind gusts up to 30 m/s are expected in the Carpathians.
Heavy rains and snowfall are expected in most regions of Ukraine from November 21 to 23. From November 24, these weather conditions will spread to the eastern regions. Wind gusts will reach 15-20 m/s, and in the Carpathians – 25-30 m/s, which will lead to heavy blizzards.
This was reported to the State Emergency Service.
The formation of a snow cover with a height of 3-15 cm is expected, and in the Carpathians – 20-50 cm. There will be ice on the roads, in some places – ice and sticking wet snow.
Authorities are urging pedestrians and drivers to use caution and avoid long-distance travel if possible.
We will remind you that earlier forecasters said that a rather warm winter is expected in Ukraine this year. But bays of arctic cold, i.e. a decrease in temperature, are possible.
