Seoul will decide on its position regarding support for Ukraine.
The United States of America “informed” South Korea in advance of allowing Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike Russia. The decision was made due to North Korea sending soldiers to the war.

According to the high-ranking official who accompanied President Yoon Suk-yeol during the G20 summit, despite the US decision, both allies did not raise the issue of South Korea providing arms to Ukraine.
“As allies, South Korea and the United States can exchange the necessary weapons if necessary. However, I would like to clarify that no decisions have been made and detailed discussions have not begun, in particular, regarding Ukraine,” he said.
