The star of Ukrainian TV series Ivan Zhiluk said for the first time that he grew up without parents. It turns out that his father left the family when he was still very young, and his mother could not cope with the challenges of fate. Therefore, Ivan was raised by his grandmother.
“My grandmother, who had a really difficult life – she had to work hard because my grandfather had a disability and drank – tried to do everything so that I would not notice that my parents abandoned me. She sang with me, read poetry, I I performed for her, she was my best and most grateful spectator, she always smiled and was happy,” Ivan admitted in an interview with UNIAN.
He noted that he tried to encourage his grandmother and make her smile more often:
