Starting November 16, Kyivstar TV will air the film “Armed with Song” about star Ukrainian musicians
The documentary film “Armed with Song” by American documentary director Ryan Smith will soon appear on Kyivstar TV.
The film tells about the war with Russia through the eyes of famous Ukrainian musicians and singers. The film premiered in Ukraine in September, and this Saturday, November 16, it will appear on the film and television platform Kyivstar TV. The film features works by contemporary Ukrainian performers who, through music, convey a feeling of love for the Motherland.
Smith chose the lead singer of the Boombox group, Andrei Khlyvnyuk, as the main character. Nikolai Serga and Sasha Chemerov spoke about the idea and purpose of creating “Cultural Landing,” which made a great impression on foreign viewers. Also in the film, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, the DakhaBrakha group, Svetlana Tarabarova and more share their own stories and visions….
