The Speaker of the Parliament declared that his position regarding the negotiations with the Russian Federation will not change.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said that Ukraine is ready to negotiate the end of the war with Russia only on its own terms.
The Speaker of the Parliament said this at a briefing on December 10, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Stefanchuk commented on the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin about readiness for negotiations.
“My position has not changed. In this war, the aggressor is the Russian Federation, and the victim is Ukraine. Only the conditions of Ukraine, as the victim of this aggression, should be the conditions on which we are ready to make peace,” said the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.
