Legendary American writer Stephen King shocked fans with the news. The best-selling horror author has announced that he is leaving billionaire Elon Musk's social network X, aka Twitter. The celebrity explained why he will no longer share his thoughts on this network.
The “king of horror” announced this on his Twitter page, writes The Guardian. He published a post in which he noted that he would no longer write on X and that this message would probably be the last on his page.
The writer said the reason for this was that the atmosphere on the social network had become “too toxic.” King also announced that he was moving to Threads, a competitor social network to X launched by Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta.
