Subsidies 2025: Ukrainians can get additional money for solid fuel

During the heating season of 2024, Ukrainians received more than UAH 3 billion for firewood and coal.

Ukrainian families heating their homes firewood or coalcan receive additional financial support assistance for its purchase.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.

The agency said that, together with the UNHCR (Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), for the second year in a row, they provide additional financial assistance to Ukrainians for the purchase of solid fuel.

Already during the heating season in 2024 more than 245.5 thousand of Ukrainian households received financial assistance for more than UAH 3.4 billion from all funding sources. In particular:

• UAH 2.4 billion (for 198,000 households) from the state budget of Ukraine,
• UAH 1.02 billion (for 47,000 households) at the expense of UNHCR.
