Support for Ukraine – in Germany the population has become less supportive of aid to Kyiv – UNIAN
Many German residents are confident that a change of president in the United States will lead to a deterioration in relations with Washington.
Over the past year, the number of residents in Germany who support military assistance to Ukraine has decreased. This became known from a survey conducted by the Verian Institute commissioned by the Körber-Stiftung Foundation.
According to a study published on November 12, 57% of Germans support military assistance to Ukraine in 2024. This is nine percentage points less than a year earlier.
The survey also showed that 45% of respondents see the Russian war against Ukraine as the biggest geopolitical challenge of our time.
