Sweden donated spare parts to Ukraine for 14 Gripen fighters – UNIAN

Sweden has donated components for JAS 39 Gripen fighters to Ukraine, although the aircraft themselves have not yet been delivered. These spare parts are enough for 14 cars.
This delivery became known from a statement by Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson at a press conference on November 22, 2024, writes Janes. But the delivery of spare parts itself occurred earlier – in September.
At the same time, the question still remains when the transfer of the Gripens themselves will take place. It is also not clear whether we are really talking about the delivery of 14 aircraft, or simply about a stock of spare parts, which would theoretically be enough for such a number of fighters.
