78-year-old Hollywood actor of Italian origin Sylvester Stallone, known for his iconic roles in films such as “Rocky” and “Rambo,” expressed public support for Donald Trump at the Policy Institute of America gala. The event took place at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, which is owned by the former US President himself.
Stallone, who has long been known for his sympathy for Republicans, did not contain his delight, calling Trump the second George Washington.
“Nobody in the world could have done what he did. So I'm delighted. I'll just say it – and I mean it. When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea he was going to change the world. Because that without it you can imagine what the world would look like. Guess what?
