Szijjarto complained to Lavrov about Ukraine – UNIAN

He called the Russian minister to discuss the war in Ukraine.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó told the Russian side that Ukraine rejected his “peace proposal.”

The Russian Foreign Ministry reported that yesterday the minister initiated a telephone conversation with his colleague Sergei Lavrov, which was a continuation of the contact between Kremlin ruler Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban:

“Szijjártó said that Hungary’s proposal for a temporary ceasefire on the “Ukrainian front” and a large-scale exchange of prisoners was rejected by Zelensky, about which Budapest was informed by officials of the Kyiv regime.”
