“T Plus” conducts tightness tests of heating networks from CHPP-4

The Kirov branch of “T Plus” inspects the heating networks of the city of Kirov using a special organic dye “Uranin A”. On December 2, testing of heating networks from Kirovskaya CHPP-4, in the northern part of the city, began. Earlier, from November 26, the dye was introduced into the network water from the Kirov CHPP-5 to conduct a similar test.

Tests using a dye that colors the coolant bright green can identify possible damage to pipelines, illegal tappings into the system, and damaged boilers in homes.

Over the past week, during tests in the southern part of Kirov, the chemical service of the Kirov heating networks identified leaks at two of the 103 central heating points where samples were taken for analysis. Repairs were promptly carried out on them…
