Without much publicity, Taiwan has probably become one of the largest supporters of the Ukrainian Air Force. Former Pentagon official Tony Hu said Taiwan gave its surplus HAWK anti-aircraft missile batteries to the Ukrainian military.
According to Forbes, Hu's comments confirm previous statements about a deal between Ukraine and Taiwan mediated by the United States. It is indicated that Taiwan's MIM-23 Homing All-the-Way Killer missiles, as well as their launchers and radars, will complement the additional HAWKs donated to Ukraine by the United States and Spain.
