According to the former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, this position of Scholz is not systemic.
The reluctance to transfer Taurus missiles to Ukraine is the personal principled position of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. This opinion was expressed by former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba in an interview with Channel 24.
“I have great respect for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, but the reluctance to give Taurus is his personal principled position, that is, it is not a systemic position. However, he did not want to give tanks, but he had to give. Here he took a principled position, they say, “It will be as he said,” the diplomat noted.
