The budget for next year is not balanced, as President Zelensky has not yet signed the law on tax increases.
In the state budget for 2025 approved by the Verkhovna Rada, UAH 120 billion has been allocated to finance the Defense Forces. It is impossible to collect such funds without raising taxes.
This opinion was expressed by People's Deputy Olha Vasylevska-Smaglyuk in a comment on Novina.LIVE.
According to her, the budget for next year is not balanced, as President Zelensky still has not signed the law on raising taxes, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on October 10.
“We need somewhere to take 120 billion, which are already in the draft budget, provided for the army, but not supported by tax increases,” the deputy explained.
