Taxes on the sale of cars have increased in Ukraine — Ukraine
For military personnel, the military tax rate remains at the level of 1.5%, regardless of the type of income.
From December 1, the new taxation procedure provided for by the Law “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the Features of Taxation during Martial Law” came into effect in Ukraine. One of the main changes is an increase in the military levy rate from 1.5% to 5% for individuals on various types of income, including salaries, property rentals, winnings, bank deposits and other income.
As reported in the main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the law also provides for changes in the taxation of income from the sale of vehicles:
• Sale of the first passenger car for the year: 0% tax.
• Sale of the second car during the year: 5% of the cost + 5% of the military tax.
