The actor who voiced Geralt was reprimanded for saying that the hero would appear in The Witcher 4
CD Projekt RED asked Doug Cockle not to say anything about the game.
Previously, Doug Cockle, the actor who voiced Geralt of Rivia in the English version of the Witcher games, stated that the hero would still appear in the next part, although not as a central character.
Looks like the actor shouldn't have said that. In a recent interview with Geektown, Cockle revealed that he doesn't actually know if Geralt will actually appear in The Witcher 4. His past statement was based on a rumor that he mistook for a message from a developer at CD Projekt RED:
“I don't know how true this is. I was going by rumors – it seemed to me that someone from CD Projekt said that Geralt would be in The Witcher 4, but would not be the main character, and I don't know if that's true.”
