The Armed Forces may begin retreating from an important city
The situation is escalating.
In the near future, the Armed Forces may start rearguard battles to ensure the retreat of the main forces from Kurakhovoy in Donetsk region.
This was stated by military expert Vladyslav Seleznyov in a commentary for “RBK.Ukraine”.
“We have practically no options to keep the Kurakhiv garrison. If we ask the question, what is more important – the lives of the soldiers or the territory – we have to bet on our lives. Since the further we go, the more difficult the logistics become,” Seleznyov emphasized.
According to him, the situation in the area of the city of Kurakhove may plunge into the “fog of war”. A similar situation was observed with Vugledar and Selidov.
“Even the transfer of serious reinforcements to this area is unlikely to change the situation,” Seleznyov added.
