The armed forces of Ukraine are “in trouble” because they lack infantry and other important supplies.
This was reported by the chief correspondent of Sky News, Stuart Ramsay, who is in the east of Ukraine.
According to the journalist, the Ukrainian defense is “well entrenched”, but suffers from “a big problem with the number of infantry”.
“They have to use American tanks in infantry maneuvers just to support people because they just don't have enough fighters on the ground to launch offensive attacks“, Ramsay said.
As the correspondent emphasized, this means that Ukraine receiving help from its partners, in particular from the USA, is now “absolutely vital”.
