The game took place at the EPET Arena stadium in Prague. Danny Makkelie acted as the main referee of the meeting. The match ended with a score of 6:0 in favor of the guests.
For the Spanish club, Julian Alvarez and Angel Correa scored a double. Midfielder Marcos Llorente and striker Antoine Griezmann also scored a goal each.
In the next round of the general stage of the Champions League, Atlético Madrid will meet Slovan Bratislava (December 11). In turn, Sparta will play with Feyenoord (December 11).
