Commanders of the Russian military allow their subordinates to participate in the execution of prisoners of war, which is a clear violation of international law.
This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Analysts recalled that the Russian occupiers had recently executed more Ukrainian prisoners of war on the battlefield.
For example, the geolocation footage published on December 22 shows Russian soldiers executing five Ukrainian prisoners of war near the border of the Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions in Blagodatny (south of Velika Novosilka).
