The company supplied 20,000 defective sleeping bags to the Armed Forces — Ukraine
The total amount of damages amounted to more than 30 million hryvnias.
The director of the enterprise was informed of suspicion due to the supply of 20,000 low-quality sleeping bags to the military.
This was reported to the State Bureau of Investigation.
The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), with the assistance of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police, reported suspicion to the director of the Kryvyi Rih enterprise, which in 2023 supplied the military with 20,000 sleeping bags of inadequate quality for the amount of 30 million hryvnias.
The examination established that the sleeping bags did not meet the technical requirements. In particular, the fabric did not meet the declared characteristics, and important elements were also missing – a fleece lining and a layer of special fabric that ensures tightness. Because of this, sleeping bags could not be used as intended.
