People's Deputy (“Servant of the People”) Yevgeny Pivovarov called on the Verkhovna Rada to quickly pass a bill on completing the construction of power units No. 3 and No. 4 of the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant. According to him, this is a strategic step for Ukraine’s energy security.
“The completion of these two blocks will provide the country with 2.2 GW of environmentally friendly and cheap electricity. This will help reduce dependence on fossil fuels, reduce the cost of electricity for consumers and strengthen our energy independence,” the deputy emphasized.
