This was emphasized by the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, in an interview during the European Defense Summit in Prague, The New York Times reports.
He emphasized that in the war waged by Russia against Ukraine, “something more than just Ukraine is at stake.”
“If you let a country like Russia win, come out of this situation victorious, then what does that mean for other autocratic states in the world where the US also has interests?” – explained the senior NATO officer.
