At its meeting, the Verkhovna Rada adopted Law No. 12104, which provides for the possibility of deferring mobilization to civilians who have been released from Russian captivity.

This was reported by People's Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko on Telegram.

The delay will be granted both to relatives of persons recognized as missing under special circumstances, and to those who received the status of “missing person” through the court.

Relatives will not have to go through complicated court processes, documents from the Unified Register of Persons Disappeared Under Special Circumstances or a court decision will suffice.

“I had many appeals in this regard, I constantly raised this issue in the Council. Finally, there is a fair decision!”, concluded the People's Deputy.
