The court punished a Chepchan man who brutally beat his girlfriend and left her to die on the sidewalk

The Kirovo-Chepetsky District Court announced the completion of the criminal case. A local resident was accused of attempted murder.

The court found that in April a quarrel broke out between the couple in a store on Mira Avenue. A 42-year-old man suspected his 30-year-old girlfriend of infidelity. Chepchanin began to strangle his friend and hit her in the face. The man then took the victim outside, threw her onto the sidewalk and began kicking her on the body, limbs and head. Chepchanin grabbed the girl by the head and hit her head several times on the curb. The man stopped only when he decided that the victim was dead. Passers-by called an ambulance, and doctors managed to save the victim’s life.
