The court set a bail of 60 thousand UAH for anti-corruption official Lemenov in the case of evading the army,
The court chose a preventive measure against anti-corruption official and founder of the StateWatch analytical center, Alexander Lemenov, who is accused of evading service and failing to appear when summoned to the TCC. He was assigned bail in the amount of 60.5 thousand UAH – this decision was made by the Belotserkovsky City District Court on December 27, 2024.
In particular, the text states that Lemenov has a military specialty in “organizing moral and psychological support for troops” and back in February 2024, the VLK recognized him as fit for military service, Law and Business writes.
But, starting in November, Lemenov avoided visiting the Belotserkovsky TsK, where he is registered, and as a result, he was put on the wanted list. During the pre-trial investigation, he also did not appear before the investigator, which “indicates his improper procedural behavior,” the resolution notes.
