The CPSU explained why South Korea imposed martial law — World

Martial law is not related to a military threat from North Korea.

The introduction of martial law in South Korea is connected exclusively with their internal political events.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Ukrainian Center for Combating Disinformation, stated this.

Kovalenko commented on the declaration of martial law in South Korea.

“The martial law in South Korea is not related to the military threat from the DPRK. It is exclusively internal political events,” the brief statement reads.

It will be recalled that on December 3, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol announced the introduction of a state of emergency, accusing the opposition of anti-state activities.
