The legendary long-term construction Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been in production hell for 16 years. The creator of the series, Michel Ancel, explained how it all happened.

Ancel gave an interview to Superpouvoir, in which he shared what went wrong with the sequel. It's actually simple: a lot of people worked on the game, each with their own passion and vision. The developers reworked the core mechanics many times, but could not come to an agreement:
