The defense of the Crimean peninsula requires serious resources from the Russian invaders. The Russian Federation is forced to mobilize large forces for air defense and other military infrastructure in order to maintain control over Crimea.

This was said by the spokesman of the Navy of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, on the air of Public Radio.

Pletenchuk noted that in connection with this, the Russians are even redirecting resources from other directions, trying to protect their strategic infrastructure in Crimea.

At the same time, Ukraine does not abandon its strategic plans to destroy the Kerch bridge, despite the strengthening of Russian defenses, but it does not attack Russian commercial ports and ships that are there.
