Kirov police spoke about two episodes of fraud, as a result of which city women suffered. The details were shared by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
A resident of Kirov, aged 42, responded to a stranger’s offer to earn extra money by “formally” purchasing goods on marketplaces. With her fake purchases, she could allegedly increase the seller’s rating, and for this she would receive 20 percent of all subsequent sales. After the first purchase, the curator announced that the account was “blocked”. As a result, the woman followed all the scammer’s instructions and lost more than 800 thousand rubles.
