The EU called for an urgent increase in military aid and the defense industry of Ukraine

The EU Council reviewed the work done in providing military support to Ukraine to help it effectively defend itself against Russian aggression.

This is stated in the conclusions of the European Council regarding Ukraine, adopted on December 19 in Brussels.

“The European Council calls for an urgent increase in efforts, in particular for the supply of air defense systems, ammunition and missiles, as well as for the provision of necessary training and equipment for Ukrainian brigades,” the document says.

The EU leaders also emphasized the importance of intensifying work on further support and development of the defense industry of Ukraine and deepening its cooperation with the EU defense industry.
