Increasing gas transportation tariffs by 356% and 305% will have serious consequences for the industry, the EBA warns.

The European Business Association (EBA) expressed serious concern regarding the draft resolution of the National Energy and Regulatory Commission on the establishment of new tariffs for natural gas transportation services for 2025-2029. According to the Association's experts, the document provides for an unprecedented increase in tariffs: by 356% for entry points and by 305% for exit points.

Representatives of the business community note a lack of transparency in the process of setting tariffs.

“There is no discussion of draft decisions of NEURC on tariffs, although the calculated data for the tariffs of the State Customs Service Operator are not classified as information with limited access,” EBA experts note.
