On Wednesday, November 13, the verdict was announced in Kirov in the case of Viktor Tarasov, who was accused of corruption and embezzlement of funds. The court sentenced him to nine years in a maximum security colony and a fine of 5 million rubles, the source reports.

The ex-head of the Overhaul Fund was taken into custody in the courtroom. Also, 4.6 million rubles, previously seized 51 thousand rubles, as well as a mobile phone will be confiscated from him. In this case, a year of detention is counted as punishment. In addition, he will retain a foreign car worth 830 thousand rubles: the court did not confiscate the Range Rover.
