Threats of the Slovak Prime Minister Roberta Fitzo will not be reflected in the operation of the energy system of Ukraine.
This was stated by Oleksandr Kharchenko, director of the Energy Research Center, whose words were quoted by “RBK-Ukraine”.
According to him, Fico's promise “really does not carry” any serious threats to the interruption of electricity supply to Ukraine.
“We will easily be able to compensate for the volumes that Ukraine chooses from the European Union today through another connection. The maximum that can happen is that Slovakia will lose money in addition to what it will definitely lose from the termination of gas transit,” said the expert.
