IN Almaty at the Sports Palace named after Baluan Sholak at the evening of mixed martial arts Octagon 66 a battle took place in which the Kazakhs fought Mahir Aliyev (2-2) and Uzbek Saidatakhon Nuriddinov (5-2), reports Sports.kz.
The welterweight fight ended with Nuriddinov winning by technical knockout in the first round. A video of the finish can be seen below.
Thus, Saidatakhon Nuriddinov won the sixth victory in his professional MMA career, and Mahir Aliyev suffered his third defeat.
In the main event of the Octagon 66 tournament, the organization's welterweight champion Georgy Kichigin (30-10) from Kazakhstan will defend his title against Russian Khamzat Chapanov (14-3).
