WBC world middleweight champion Dominican Carlos Adames (24-1, 18 KOs) will make his next title defense against the undefeated British challenger Hamza Shiraz (21-0, 17 KOs), writes Sports.kz.
According to the Saudi super-investor of boxing and functionary Turki al ash-Sheikh, the Adames-Shiraz fight will be part of a big card in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on February 22. The main fight will feature a rematch for the “absolute” light heavyweight title between Russians Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.
