Kazakh boxer Rai Seitzhanov suffered his first defeat in his professional career, Sports.kz reports.
He performed as part of the REN TV Fight Club series show in Moscow (Russia) and met with the local undefeated fighter Vadim Musaev, who is the 2021 world vice-champion in amateur boxing. The welterweight fight was scheduled for eight rounds, but ended early – in the fifth round, Seitzhanov’s corners threw the towel into the ring. Before this, in the first round, Rai managed to knock down his opponent.
