The first video with newborn penguins from Galindez Island — Tsikavinky
There are already almost ten newborn penguins on Galindez Island.
Ukrainian scientists have published a video with the first baby penguins that were born near the “Akademik Vernadskyi” station.
This was reported by the National Arctic Science Center.
Ditlachi was filmed by geophysicist of the 29th UAE Anna Soina on the way to the geospace research laboratory. Currently, there are already about a dozen newborn penguins on Galindez Island, where the station is located, most of which have settled near the laboratory.
“We remind you that subantarctic penguins predominate on Galindez. Currently, there are about 4,000 of them here, and at the end of last season, our biologists counted a record 7,000,” the message reads.
