Henry, the world's oldest known crocodile, celebrates his 124th birthday on December 16 at a conservation center in South Africa.
The Nile crocodile has lived at the Crocworld Conservation Center in Scottburgh, South Africa since 1985. It was originally caught in the Okavango Delta in Botswana in 1903, Live Science writes.
Henry has fathered more than 10,000 cubs from numerous partners since he arrived almost 40 years ago. Although his exact date of birth is unknown, Crocworld believes he was born around 1900 and celebrates his birthday on December 16th every year.
