The GUR named the number of Russian troops in Ukraine
Russia is not yet building up forces for offensive operations.
In temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine currently there are approximately 600,000 Russian military personnel. Their number has remained constant for the last time.
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, said this in an interview with “Noviny.LIVE”.
According to him, the losses of Russian troops are colossal and show a growing trend.
“Those recruitment mobilization measures that the enemy uses are primarily aimed at replenishing losses, because they are colossal and have a tendency to increase,” Yusov said.
Earlier, the GUR reported that in the temporarily occupied territories 35,000 members of the “Rosguard” are stationed.
