The Russian Investigative Committee responded to media publications about a village in the Zuevsky district that had lost contact with the outside world. The comment was published by the department's information center.

There were reports in social networks and the media that residents of the village of Motous, Zuevsky district, Kirov region, were left without a pontoon crossing, which allowed them to move to a neighboring settlement on the other side of the Cheptsy River. It is there that all socially significant objects are located, including a first-aid post and a railway station.

The lack of a crossing forces local residents in need of medical care to make their way to the other side off-road. Local authorities and relevant structures do not provide them with adequate level of support, despite numerous complaints. Previously we wrote
