The report indicated that Japan's foreign minister had arrived for talks with officials, likely to show Tokyo's commitment to Kyiv in its fight against Russian invaders, which now includes North Korean troops.
The publication notes that the Japanese diplomat arrived in Ukraine after participating in a regional economic meeting in Peru. He became the first Japanese minister to visit the country since Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba took office last month.
